La flauta es un instrumento de gran protagonismo a lo largo
de toda la historia de la música. A partir de la época barroca dicho protagonismo
se ve subrayado por las exigencias de un creciente virtuosismo. La colección de
cuatro discos que constituye “El Arte de la Flauta desde el Siglo XVII al XX” ofrece una
amplia panorámica musical con interpretaciones de quien es considerado por
muchos (entre los que me cuento) el mejor flautista de todos los tiempos:
